Leadership Fellow Program
During the AVP/USA Gathering in Denver, the assembled body directed the Board of Directors to develop a “Leadership Fellow” program. The goal of the program is to provide leadership training and mentorship to those seeking to serve AVP/USA, to pass along institutional knowledge about the decision-making process, and to add new voices and perspectives to the Board of Directors.
Attached you’ll find two documents. The first is a description of Leadership Fellows program, detailing the opportunities the program offers, and the expectations the Board will have of selected to participate. The second is an application. Completed applications are due on July 1, 2016.
The AVP/USA Board of Directors Leadership Fellows Program is open to any AVP-trained person who wants to get experience in AVP leadership. Three (3) Leadership Fellow positions will be made available each year.
The Board is very excited about this program, and looks forward to seeing it up and running.
